A Kentucky Wedding

Eric's cousin, Matt, got married last weekend up in Bowling Green, Kentucky. So we packed up the car and headed North for all the festivities. Friday night we had an amazing dinner with all the family at the Rehearsal Dinner. Claire was very well behavied and had a great time with her cousins. She even made friend's with one of Emily's bridesmaids who she informed that she was wearing TinkerBell panities. It was so loud the whole place heard her. She has no shame:o) She was so excited to see Emily because she was going to be a Princess the next day.

On Saturday we woke up, ate breakfast and spent the day at the pool until it was time for the wedding. Claire could not wait to see Princess Emily and Prince Matt at the church. We had been talking about this wedding for some time now to make sure she knew to be one her best behavior. So that's how the whole Prince and Princess thing came about. And boy did it work. She was amazing throughout the whole ceremony. So quiet and polite and just stared up at Matt and Emily. I was so proud of her. After the wedding it was party time. The reception was on the Western Kentucky Campus where they both attended college. Great family, food and music made the night a blast. The band was so good and Claire danced the whole night.

Sunday morning Matt's parent's(Papa's sister, Marcia) had a big breakfast for all the family and out of town guests. Claire of course had a great time with her cousins.
