Claire had her first day of preschool this past Tuesday. She was so excited and she couldn't get out of the car fast enough when we pulled into the parking lot. Last Friday they had a meet and greet with her new teachers. As soon as we walked into her classroom she looked back and told me goodbye. She was pretty disappointed that I wasn't going to get to leave her. So, as you know she walked straight in on Tuesday and never looked back. I'm pretty sure that we will love her teachers, Mrs. Kozar and Mrs. Anthony. It's a lot different this year because it's actual preschool and not just mother's morning out. She learned a lot in MMO, but they really focused on a lot of playing. This year it's a little more serious. She will learn her numbers, alphabet and lot's more. I'm excited to see her write her name:o) They even have a science lesson during the week. All I remember doing when I was 3 was playing, but it's great to see her soak it all in. Another huge difference is that she get's to do carpool now. Before I had to walk her in and pick her up from her class. This year she has her carpool number(which is 25 and it's so cute to hear her say it) and sits in her spot against the wall until it's called. I pull up to the front and a teacher walks her out to the car. Only downside is that they can't buckle her in, so I have to pull to the side and do that. But it's really getting her to be more independant and she was so proud yesterday when she did it for the first time:o) I can't wait to see what all she will learn over the year!

Mrs. Kozar!!! Is this a joke? It's Zarzour and Kosek combined into one name. What kind of polish-lebenese lady is this!?! I must meet her! She is probably awesome.
